Super Jet 1st superjet, which ones a better deal

Your first job should be to lose the K & N filter and replace it with the stock flame arrestor like the second 'ski had. The paper element in those doesn't like getting wet. It is fitted to a 'ski. It is going to get wet.

I thought flame arrest it's we're good? Or Just not k&n's?
I completely ripped it apart last night. Cleaning the engine bay and re routing lines so it looks better. Here's a couple pics. I do have a question though. Are my cooling lines set up ok? Also what should the carb be jetted at for the Coffman sizzler and flame arrest or for now? Remember this is the wetjet 61x motor. 1 carb, the carb measured at 45mm?

To me that looks like a full Wetjet Kraze setup. Nice find. That intake and carb set can be sold for nice $$$ but make great power so don't sell. Good Find. I know the Factory pipe setup can be run from head to bottom of head pipe (as your pictures show). Most of the Coffman's are run from the cylinder head to front of head pipe, then from bottom of head pipe to T to stinger. Not sure that it matters all that much in this situation.

Yeah thats the Kraze Engine.
Looks like mine, Its missing the WestCoast Factory head, but I understand those are rare finds.
The carb and intake is 46 mm and has slightly different mounting then a standard SBN 44.
Is that the oil pump still on the front of the flywheel cover?

Not sure about those the black nipple cover. Ill have to look at mine later to see if I even have that.
I got rid of my oil pump since we run premix. Bought a nice little cover plate for it. Similar to this
Oil Block Off

Edit. It re-occurs to me that these came out of the couches, Which I think might have had a temp sensor running to the dash. That is what it might be fore.

That black nipple is another cooling exit it looks like they blocked it off and tapped the head for another barbed fitting, as you can see by the brass plug below it.

They say the intake has built in stuffers, I'd sure like to see exactly what that looks like in comparison to my stock 61x intake. Any chance you can take a pic at some point?

Yea I can take a pic next time I have it apart. Probably will be awhile though. You guys got any recommendations on jetting? Seems like it may have a slight hesitation during idle to full throttle. By the way, I'm pretty sure its not the 46mm carb. I think its the 44. The bottom of the carb measured 45mm. Anyways for the jetting, mods are...
