1990 Superjet

I Recieved My Superjet From A Freind Who Bought It New In 1991 And The Bendix Came Apart And Broke The Bottom Case And Has Been Sitting In A Garage Ever Since I Recieved. I Repaired It And No Spark So I Replace The Cdi. And I Ran It. The Problem Is The Thing Was A Turd So I Put A Coffman Pipe Jetted. Works 201 Intake, Umi 0 Degree Bars And Throttle. Wammer Footholds And Turf Kit, And A Blowson Pole Spring. I Just Put A Used 14.5/18.5 Impeller Form Solas. I Need Some Imput What Mod Is Next

however, the answer to your questiuon is either replace the 650 with a 701 motor..or add footholds

i have a stock impeller, and my new set up will be a protec head and pipe, i will end up changing the prop when i get the money!

I think the 650 cases with 701 jug will be alright for snap, and low end punch, I would think they might hinder the top end a bit.

No problem though, 61x 701 cases are CHEAP, like $60 or so commonly.

This winter is refoam, footholds, etc

my superjet was water free i bet my snjet doesnt have 25 hours on it. it was a great find
i also put a recreational head from protec. i could keep up with my buddys 2000 superjet
its just time to build my motor i want. i used to port 2 stroke dirt bikes but never really look at the port timing on a superjet oh ya look like you have you hands

yah, i know im doing footholds to but my ski wouldnt be wet even if it leaked because it has sat out side for 3 years. sorry about stealing ur thread

Lucky man! Nice find!
My 750 was like that.
I would be done now, not half way through, if it had been dry.
Something to do with a hole in the bottom and leaky bond line:grumble:
