Super Jet 1990 Superjet.. Where to start modding??

Heyy all,
I have an all stock 1990 superjet and want to start modding it. I do most of my riding on flat water. I was thinking about starting with some footholds (possibly the diggers?) and some new turf. Also was looking at a new intake grate (maybe worx?) and or a ride plate. I have been riding for a few years now and want to begin upgrading.. I am looking for the best upgrades on budget. PLease let me know your opinions! Thanks!

Start with the cheap handling mods, drill quick steer on the nozzle, and d cut the ride plate, those are both free

a d-cut is when you cut a D into the back of the ride plate.. it raises the nose of the ski

Yup I have been riding lake Champlain here for a few years now. I do most of my riding in Willsboro Bay.
