Not sure, for now it will be the 550 motor. I think you might have to change out the pump area for a larger motor like that but im not sure.

Got the tray glassed back in and all foam done. Also picked up a $150 trailer and sandblasted it and repainted. :)

A LOT....considering when I was removing the old patch work on the bottom the the previous owner did, and water started dripping out, I knew I was in trouble. That foam was soaked and weighed a ton. Its much lighter now.

yep, well i got the 4lb kit, which only filled up half, so you actually need 2(4 lb kits) I went with the 3lb foam although the 2lb would be ok too.

Another thing - front sponsons - they add great buoyancy to the ski, if you want to pop off better off wakes and so on - and turn like an sxr - do it!

I was thinking about the front sponsons. But dont have the funds right now. I think ill be keeping the tray as it is for now ;)

Got it painted, the pics dont show really how great it looks but you get the idea. On the last section of clear, we heard a loud BANG, the compressor blew the whole top of the piston out of the side. I had enough air to finish though. Looks like Ill be bringing it back!!! LOL

Here is where im at now, got a lot done.

The onyl problem I ran into is in the last 2 pics, one hole for the rideplate the metal insert that the bolt screws into was stripped out from the hull, and one for the intake grate is backing itselt out. How do you screw these things back in and how would you re-install the one that ripped totally out. There is nothing for the threads to screw into the hull.

you gota tape the hole a bigger size
