155 pump

I received this pump and I had the removed the impeller,I did not removed or play with a set back pump in a long time, is this normal,I am talking about the washer ,because it's a machine shop that I don't know. who put the pump together ,

Yeah, you can add or remove the washer to get the correct prop/stator clearance. If you get the "right" clearance with the washer its good, if to much clearance, the setup will be too loose and you might need to put a thinner washer or completely remove it.
Its a bit like exit nozzle diameter, there is no correct and wrong "number" its all about YOUR setup and get your pump loaded to the max, that your engine can push :)

No that is not normal, impeller washer should fit into pump nose. Remove the impeller washer and post another pic, but my guess is the wrong thickness of bearing was used on the front and shaft is sticking through too far.

I will bet the pump was assembled with std SJ pump bearings instead of the wider setback pump bearing kit. Disassemble pump and see if the same bearing is used front and rear. Should have a wider bearing on the front of a setback shaft. Don't run the pump that way.
 
OK thank you Christ,I put some pictures of the stator so you can see bearing ,I am not sure about the distance in between the seals and the bearing
