Custom/Hybrid 145 mag pump Cavatation

This is a new problem, everything was working fine all season! Saturday I went out rode a few sessions then the pump started spinning (like a burn out). Its in my EME so the pump seal is all silicone, I checked that and I do not see any light gaps as I siliconed the poop out of it last time. I did notice that the impeller to drive shaft seal was tore and only halfway on. Could this seal cause a cavatation issue?

Was gonna call EME or Glen at Skat in a few hours to order a new seal, just curious if anyone has different advice.

Thanks

Just checked the carrier no water leaks at all, I pulled it off and found one of the spring retainers was broken, but otherwise it seams to be sealing. Ofcourse that is not under any load or vacuum

talked to glen at skat and he advised me to replace it

no trash in the pump stator? No trash
impeller shape?gap? impeller was just repitched at skat earlier this year, it is still in great shape, I didnt physically measure the gap yet though.
midshaft bearing sealing? I think this is my problem, water is not leaking but it is kinda tore up, probably from all the test fitting when assembling the ski for the first time.
silicone seal? no light gaps, I siliconed it very very well last time. So much so I left the pump in the ski and pulled the motor instead to remove driveshaft.
recheck all these.

thanks for the help!
