I've finally given up on Blowsion for their fx1 pump and have decided to try and make my own. I'm looking for as much info and pics as I can get. I'm really interested to hear from guys that have done their own and can help me with short cuts and hurdles that they came across. I don't want to cut my hull if I can help it. Even better if someone has one already done that they would be interested in selling and shipping to Australia please let me know.
Any info will be apprieciated.
Cheers
Dale

Blowsion has some of them in stock now. Check with DokWok.

I've been kinda keepin this idea under my hat but what I am working on is using the pump cavity from a waveraider which is a metal bolt in piece. If you cut out stock cavity and glass underneath you can try and get it to work that way. I havent started working on it yet but I have the raider piece and have lined it up the top part will have to be cut down a little but I think I can make it work. The best part is that It is 1.5" longer than an sj and there is no need to figure out the pump shoe cuz its part of the raider piece. Hopefully someone else can get this to work so I wont have to figure it out with trial and error.

Bonzia Bob and yamahammer are redesigning my 144 to be a 1" set back. It already kicksa$$ but it should really KICKA$$ after loading the cavity with a little more volume. We'll let you know how it turns out. By the way if you guys will just buy a used/junk SJ pump and send it we'll build you one that just bolts in with no glass work (for a nominal fee of course).

Once you've fitted a superjet pump to an fx1 what pitch prop works with this combo? Fx1's normally run very high pitched props. Does this change with the bigger pump?
