144 wear rings

are they all the same?



I was looking at a spare I have on my shelf and it looks a little different from the one I just installed in my SJ...


this one does not have threaded holes (at the 4 corners) to bolt it all together with the long skinny bolts...

Im sure its a 144 though....

It's a knock off. No soup for you! :haha:

j/k I was wrenching on a WRIII last night and the four long bolts went through the wear ring and into the pump shoe assembly. Didn't strip it far enough down to see if the wear ring holes were threaded or not though. :dunno:

all arent the same, the 144 wear rings from ventures and sit downs dont have threads so they can bolt to the duct for the pump. superjets use a pump shoe, the sit downs use a all one piece pump so the intake duct and everything is all one piece. SJ's and a few other skis are the only 144 wear rings that are threaded.
