I believe a few of the REV 1200 motors are running dual 49 Full Spectrums with success.

yea i hear ya but last time i talked to jeff he said the dual 49's werent enough for the 1200 and he had even tried something in the low 50's and is now just workin on EFI b/c of trying to get it to preform at top hp with carbs was too difficult and would be much more efficient with fuel injection... i dunno, hes crazy, im sticking with the small big bore:biggthumpup:

im going to stick with carbs and even jeff said 48 would be fine but it didnt make sense like i said with some of these guys runnin dual 48 on their stroked and big bore motors that werent even close to 1000cc

i think a pressureised fuel system would be simple and affordable and easy to tune.Ive been thinking about the injection systems that are being ran on sprintcars.their also very easy to tune.

Sounds like the MRD dual 50mm mechanical FI needs to make a comeback. MRD was very nice.

Someone should be able to do better with modern electronics, I don't think the MRD unit was very smart.

Joke right? MRD was mechanical, no electronics at all, and worked very well with dual 50mm throttle bodies.

along with EFI, package a pressurized lubrication system for the crank bearings, and piston skirt, and you will basically have the evinrude E-Tec engine.

Digital fuel injection mounted right behind the boost port window that would be cool but then the crank bearings would starve for oil.
