Hello all!

My names Dan and im from London! UK. I dont know if theres any other british people on here, but on first looks, the site looks cool!

ive always been into sit downs since i was 12, but now im looking for a superjet.

im going to be buying a brand new 2008 model. Ive never had much experience on them, but i wont be racing it. Just recreational use / learning tricks etc.

Out of the crate, whats the first essential mods that i need to do?

i know about foot holds, and a bilge pump, but which of these are best?

also, what other things should i add to my list of mods that i need?

no offense, but thats horrible advice on a brand new ski to a brand new rider


way way way overkill



the OP:

try the search function, there is more info that you will be able to swallow



first mods for an 08
change steering cable to pre-08 and do DIY quicksteer mod (easier than it sounds)
cut down pole while your at it, add straight bars

footholds/turf
intake grate/impellar (skat 12/17 or solas 13/16 cutback)
D cute rideplate

then get into the motor stuff..but that'll keep you busy for awhile :headbang:



Each person will give you a different mod path...but I suggest handling mods to start (most are FREE), then worry about motor and exhaust etc...

Thanks for your replies! ive been looking around at a few posts and found them interesting reads! il be sticking round to read more and ask a few more questions so hope you lot wont mind! :)

also, can anyone tell me some websites for parts / mods that dont mind shipping across the pond? theres only a few who specialise in the UK so im looking further afield!
