well i told crab id report back with the results on this prop.

i say its awesome. I am running stock nozzle and stock tailcone. works just as good as my cutback big hub skat 12/17 paired with TBM pump hub.

i noticed very very little cavitation only in whitewash in the washing machine surf conditions on friday in daytona.

i need to buy another TBM pump hub and try it out with this setup. id like to see if it helps out any more.

my final word on this prop is that its well worth the 100 bucks i spent on it.
works just as well as my 250 dollar prop.:shhh:

Meh... For a 750 Id say its ok, but after you pay to have it machined and repitched to fit a 650 pump Id say that your somewhat getting a bum deal. In the off season impros is basically giving away impellers with machine work.

I just got my 9/17 skat Hooker impeller with a 6mm cutback for $225. Much much lighter and more precise with thinner blades than a SXR.

ps, wheres a good place to find TBM pump cones and how much should I expect to pay?

whose putting these in 750's?

i put this in my superjet. it looks almost identical to a hooker prop side by side(although im positive the pitch is different)

you can find used TBM cones on this site for around 200 bucks... just gotta keep an eye out for them.

brand new you can get them for around 300.

Idk on the pitch, but I am running one in my fixed steer right now with a stubby cone and blueprinted stator. Stock exit nozzle. This is with a stock 61x/61x Ada head 33 cc domes, mod B pipe and MSD enhancer, lightened 62t flywheel.

Ski goes really good with this setup for what it is.

Have one also and its great, bored nozzle to 85mm, stock cone also. Seems to have great hook up but i would like to try a hooker 10/16 just to see if i can get some improvement

as far as I know the stock 08+ prop pitch is the same as the old aluminium one - 13/16... great prop, what could be done is to repitch it to be lower pitched even more..? Anybody did that? I just cut back mine about 3mm

I have an 08+ prop that's been re-pitched by Impros to a 9/15 and 7mm setback (http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/110191-2008-SJ-quot-parting-it-out-quot-B-Pipe-limited-chamber).... same as a Hooker 9/15. I just wondered how much it was changed. I heard the 08+ was a different pitch

the old alu impeller was defo a 13/16. I think they did not change it but improved the impeller design and that gave the extra performance on the +08 boat (plus everything else for that matter)...

Wondering if its worth sending my 08+ prop to impros and having them re-pitch it to 10/16 its 70 bucks so im not sure or just get a hooker prop
