Open the ebox and arc the 2 contacts in the starter sulounoid. If it cranks, its either the sulonoid or the start switch. The start switch can be tested with a meter. Unplug the black/white wire harness going to the ebox also and try to hit the start button. Post back up and let us know.
Good advice but do it in a different order to make it easier. First thing to check is always the start stop switch.
Step one: disconnect black and white wires at the in-line connector as stated. Press start and if it cranks then the kill switch side of the start stop switch isn't working.
Step two: if that doesn't work, then disconnect the brown and red wire connector and jumper across the terminals going into the e-box. If the motor cranks then the start switch side of the start stop switch isn't working.
Step three: of that doesn't work either then jumper the solenoid in the e-bopx as stated. If it cranks you have a bad solenoid, if not then you either have a bad starter or bad cables. Check the cable connections to the starter - make sure they are clean and tight.
