Did you replace it with the plastic WSM 006-600? It has a platic hex mounting nut. Was the hole through the ski the correct size? We're you able to reuse the fuel dash sticker?

My fuel Petcock has become very hard to turn. Probably ethanol fuel has swelled o-rings. Rather than buy a new one and have it happen again, I made a plastic tool that is always on the jet ski to make turning the valve easier. Not elegant but functional. Valve funtions fine.

I see how you are pulling down. Is the roller just above the bow eye and below the plastic nose piece lip? I guess you have to be careful that the nose piece doesn't catch when unloading.
