Yami is obviously better for freestyle, but I love my sxr and with the riding I do (not racing) the sxr is much, much better. Mostly because I ride on the big lake and ride long distances occasionally.

after you did all the colored small M's, how did you do the black around the ski? Did you have to tape off each one? Or did you do the black first, then all the colors? Looks beautiful!!!!!!

That is horrible. Was it the 750 or the SJ? Did he blow a piston...or worse? Actually your one buddy with the 750 said he is parting his out if it was the 750. He just got a small pin case and his engine is like new??????

actually it was sort of my second. I did the sides of the tray on my old 550 which really wasn't much. I just spent alot of time and had about a thousand clamps to hold it.

Kawi 750 I just finished my 750 freestyle build and I love it so far. The SJ is the best for freestyle but I didn't have the money either. You can do alot on a 750 and I love kawi also. Check out my ski on the ski buildups thread if you like the 750. Good luck

Yeah the turf was the hardest thing so far, I spent a few hours just on the foot tray. I didn't realize how hard footholds are to turf.

Finally finished! Just waiting on the hood straps and bow eyes from blowsion (2 weeks late). Took it out 3 weeks ago and it rips. The pics were before the Handlepole was back together.

Another ? guys. Do I want to put a new metal islet thing in the back of my foot tray since I put the new turf on? I was going to but I noticed some ski's don't have that. Any particular reason, and if so how do you strap it down on the trailer? Thanks

Thank you guys very much. This handle pole is the only thing stopping me from getting the ski back together. So I guess the general vote is just polish her a couple times a year and thats it?

I have a polished ac pole on my 750 and I was told that you want to clear coat it so it won't oxidize. DO I clear it with the same clear coat I used on the jet ski, or what??? Someone please help, it is all I need until I get her in the water. THanks wayne

THat looks good, I am thinking about doing the foothold to my 07 but I just built my freestyle 750 so...Good job though.

Thanks guys, I just got the tray turf'd yesterday and man was that a pain with the footholds. All I need to do is the rest of the turf and then figure out what to do with the handle pole, any suggestions?????? Do I clear it with the same stuff as the body and hull or what?? Thanks wayne
