SX-R foothold install and re-turf

as the title says im putting footholds in and gonna spice it up with some new turf along with some colored trim. this is my first experience with cutting and laying fiberglass as well as turf. Its not completely done yet, gonna head back to my dad's house and glass tomorrow with christian. but so far i have it all de turfed, all the sticky goo removed, holes cut and foam out.

all the turf stripped in about 20 minutes, what are the two plug looking things in the tray? anyone?

the tools that sped me through the process, razor blade to cut turf into sections and the putty knife to pry it up. the snap on screwdriver to remove screws (obviously) and the cell phone to play the "convenient distraction" role

i didn't dislike the red, but the black looks so much better

If my SJ what white I would do the same thing. I love the white black look. Thats how the old kawi was.

THat looks good, I am thinking about doing the foothold to my 07 but I just built my freestyle 750 so...Good job though.

Christian and I headed over to my dad's again monday afternoon to finish her up, here is the outcome.

Turf laid. I don't think it turned out too bad for my first turf job ever, im going back to fill in the two small gaps in the dash on another day. I gotta say im in love with the camo/gold combo
