Ok final diagnosis:
No fuel to carb. because cyl#1 (front cylinder, where fuel pump gets its pulse pressure from) wiped out. 60psi in relation to the 145 it had been weeks prior. Tore down the motor... jug is scorn, pistons and rings FUBAR, and metal shaving in the bottom end. Best i can tell...
I would remove the flywheel inspection plug and check to see if the flywheel itself is spinning when you work the starter button. It is possible that the starter is engaging to the flywheel but the the flywheel key is sheared. That will prevent the engine from spinning over.
Ok another update on the StoopidSki:
Round 1= TKO epic failure.
Ski ran for a grand total of 10mins in the water. 9mins and 30 seconds putting out past the no wake zone.
Got to the point that i could hammer down and she ran like a raped ape for another 30sec. at 3/4 to WOT an then she died and...

I am looking to paint a 1987 js300 hull (bottom half only at this time) what is the hull made of? ive heard a sheet molded compound? if so what is that plastic? also what kind of paint should be used when spraying that material or whatever the hull is actually made out of.

There are no extra pieces. t-bones pic... yea dont have those parts. never came out of the ski. just the brace against the "firewall" and the mount for the driveshaft bearing support that is mounted to the bottom
a bulkhead repair kit huh? never heard of such a thing lol, can u get a pic of what im missing? cause what you see (attached to the bulkhead an attached to the bottom of the bilge) is all i got , just curious to know.
Is this hull worth messing with since you say the hull is cracked. i dont...
I've got a js300 tank which is roughly the same and yea 3 to 3.5 gal is about what i get in it from empty. a little more when you tip the nose up when filling.

Also does anyone know who would have made a hull/bearing support like this? It was in the hull when i got the ski. didnt know if it was an home made jobby or a actually aftermarket set up.
Had an issue with my deck cracking so i thought what better time to gut the hull and do some major modifications. will post more pics as i get them ...
