I had the single 46 and manifold laying around, but was still looking for a dual setup (on the cheap) without any luck.
I'll get this started with the single and keep looking for a dual setup.
Does anyone have experience setting up a single SBN 46 on a SXR with an R&D manifold. It's going on a stock 83mm rebuilt back up motor with no extra bells or whistles. The stock set up looks like it might work with the L=120 H=150 and NS at 2.5 with 80gm spring?
Turns out my low speed screws had the wrong o-rings which screwed up my tuning. I went back to the Group K jets and setting recommendations stock jetting L=72.5 H=132.5 3/4 turns out on both screws and it's pretty close now for a stock SXR with the 849 big bore and Tau Ceti air filters. Plug...

Group K has two pretty thorough write ups on carb tuning. I'd start there. Also did you do a leak down test on your motor. If it isn't tight, you will never get it to work right or worse. If everything else on your ski is working correctly it sounds like you have a lean or rich condition on the...
