Hi,
I thought I had a 205 and then bought a 201 intake grate. They both look the same to me or at least they are extremely close. Can anyone tell me how to tell them apart? I'm worried that either I've got two 201 or two 205's.
Thanks.
I'm hoping someone out there has a fix for this. I was using the second line that goes through the hull into the pump cavity for the second cooling line and did something stupid, which caused it to break off flush with the bulkhead.
I've got an SX650 and noticed that I have some play between my impeller and drive shaft, enough to make me uncomfortable. I'm trying to find out what the service limit is for this play. Both the drive shaft and impeller seem to have some wear.
After removing the pump housing, I used the...
That is exactly what I thought about the 08+ SJ's (for free riding). Bought a 09 SJ, road it once and sold it. Bought a 07 a few days later and with a few mods, I love it.
Sold my 04 SXR (Whore-Pig) a few years ago, but have been missing her lately. This post reminds me of what I miss about her...
crazedlist.org is dead too.
I think Craigslist got their lawyers busy and stopped a lot of the independent search sites that pigged-back off of them.
Too bad.
I'm a little stupid and I like 2011 colors and there is always the last year built BS.
But you are right, if I just wanted to ride, any 04+ would be just fine.
I'm hoping someone here can help me out.
I'm looking for a good price (on the west coast) for a 2011 Kawasaki 800 SxR. I could buy it from anywhere in the US if the price was right. My best friend "Craigslist Statewide" is dead, so I'm left to find something on my own.
Any help or suggestions...
The EGV is a "Gold-palladium center electrode Special Construction of V-Type, for Racing use". The V type is a "Fine wire gold palladium center electrode".
It's a fancy more expensive plug. Can't hurt to use them, but not always a noticeable improvement, depending on how your motor is set up and...
My 2006 SJ call for a B7HS. I've got a :-):-):-):-) load of BR8ES and BPR8ES and I was temped to just use them. The "HS" has a shorter thread. The "ES" has a longer thread that will be exposed inside the cylinder. It was suggested to me that a carbon build up on the exposed threads might not be...
The 650sx will porpoise with the stock ride plate and is worse with a heavy rider. Riding position helps, you need to be up front in the tray as much as possible, but the best solution is to get an extended ride plate (used). If it has the stock bars, you will never be able to get forward enough...
An awful metal to metal sound might mean you have a pump housing bearing going out or a nicked impeller. Mine has a light noise when out of the water and running. Since its new to you and your just getting started, you might just want to keep an eye on it, instead of throwing money at it right...
