    even a 650 SJ would be a vast improvement on the 550. you could score a cheap 650SJ and slap a set of 701 cylinders on it later. unlike the early kawis, yamis stuff is pretty much all interchangable between the 650, 701 and 760

    a SJ will tow very easily with a 2' rope. to keep it from slamming the rear of the boat when you slow down, maybe a foam noodle around the rope.
