Yes, that makes a big difference. Epoxy will chalk and degrade in UV rays over time, therefore it needs to be protected.

Thats what regular spoof cans have always been like. They are automotive lacquer paint without the hardener.
But people like Yamaslut and some others on here have used this stuff before(epoxy paint in can) and say its resistant to gas/oil, etc.
Id have to see it for myself though...
I cant help ya with what amounts you need, but you dont need to do all that primer and sealer work Matt if they are gel coat. Dont waste extra money and time.

Ive used the X-2 or 650SX side exhaust piece on some Superjet builds I've done and they've worked great. You can pick them up for dirt cheap.
