Don't concentrate on the prop, instead look at the shaft.
It's the shaft that sets the prop into motion twisting inside the props hub.
Blue it is.
I have taken a stubborn prop to the local Yamaha dealer before, the mechanic had a 6 foot cheater bar and did it for free.
The reason I'm not going is to save myself and all the other riders the embarrassment.
Haven't been standing long enough to be allowed to go. In short, I suck.

Could you shed more info on what you did to put the round nose pole on and what you had to modify.
I might be looking into doing that in the not to distant future.

I was just searching the very subject yesterday and came up empty.
I have seen a picture of a square with a roundie pole on it but no info on how it was done.
I think it would be cool if the RN pole could be bolted up to the the SN as there seams to be many more...
I always put mine in the return line and where possible I try to have the T-fitting at the bottom of a loop(or a section of line that sags down).
That way There is always enough fuel trapped there to start the motor.
Air leaks are bad, mmkay.
I used them in my couch and they worked OK at best.
They would only last 5 months at the most as the vibrations and impact would kill them quick.
I ride year round so that worked out to 2 batteries per couch on average.
Looking back I should have gotten a good battery and saved the $$ and...
