I cut all of the bottom and always take the pole of the ski. Use stainless 1/4"-20 button head bolts with nylocks on the inside of the pole with west systems epoxy resin and 404 filler. Make sure each half is sanded well. No rivets! Wires and cable run down the pole through a hole or void in...

I use a heat gun not sure about hair dryer. I like to get the turf very warm. Mark44

Different oil companies have different additives in there fuels thus making plug readings inaccurate unless you are using the same fuel every time. IMO Also need to have a trained eye for this.
