Or you can use PVA(poly vinyl alcohol) on top of the gel coat after it sets up by brushing or spraying it on.

I remember in early-mid 2000's there were only 2-300 listing on Ebay when you searched for Yamaha Superjet, now there are 5,000. I did some good parting out back then too... There are still some good deals around today, but few and far between..
