To me this one is easy.
I would get the SN and ride the hell out of it.
The extra cash would go towards further mods.
But to some the RN does look better, I guess.
I'm down in Naples which is more than 30 minutes away but if you are ever around you are more than welcome to ride my square.
It's only a 650 with a pipe and bits but does keep up with 701's.
If I ever make it up your way the offer of a ride is still good.
This thread is going in circles.
25mm on the tray is the only way to go. Listen to those who have tried.
The top of the REV's NEED padding !
8mm would be good but if you buy half a sheet of the 25mm stuff you will have more than enough to do the top of the REVs.
It will be tight in there...
Also , when you have the starter running on jumper cables,....
1-hold on to the sucker or get a friend to help
2-let the starter spin for a few seconds and listen for noise from the bearings.
That would be ideal I think.
You can tip your ski up or down or side to side to spread the foam out thus you don't need as many holes.
The 2 in the back I filled last with the ski almost vertical and the foam spread all over quite nicely.
6 holes should be more than enough.
I only have a picture of the holes glassed over.
I did drill a few too many but I had no idea how that foam would spread so I went a little crazy with the hole saw. The holes were the size of the funnels I bought (3/4").
Here's the picture where I circled the holes plus the two in the rear...
