Yep, those bushings.
Without the collar the pole seams to stay tight for a long time.
I still have the portion that the bolt goes through but all else is gone.

Ever since I cut off the collar from the pole bushings and replaced them with stainless washers the pole has never loosened once.
That movie idea sounds cool.
Make sure you put in a good word for the stand ups, Blasters and X2's.
If I saw one in my area for $300 I would take it.
