front exhaust/xmetal box ?s

So im trying to think of everything i need to throw this in cause i coming home from school for a few days.
Question 1- i cut the factory hose bc of factory limited pipe will this still work with x-metal or do i need get a new hose or the factory pipe one?

# 2 can i get some measurements from some of you guys as far as the outlet placement- as in distance from back to outlet and rail to outlet (pics would be awesome) ?

#3 Anything else that might be helpful im trying to throw this in quickly anything that it doesn't come with?

Stock hoses will work fine. Except for box to front exhaust outlet of course.

You'll want to wrap the box in some turf to make it a bit bigger and pad it.

Here's a few pics of my side exhaust install. This is my own outlet with a stock waterbox on my squarenose, but since the hulls are the same, it should give you a good idea.

The only thing I'd do differently is move the hole 1" farther forward (70" from rear instead of 69"). Mine is a little close to the pipe to waterbox hose.

Before you punch a hole through your hull decide if you ever want tubbies.
Might make a difference in hole placement.

What you guys use to bolt up the outlet ? rivets or bolts ?

I used button head hex bolts with nyloc nuts and a bead of 5200 around the hole to make sure it was sealed.
