he probably didn't like the insinuation of being called out as a liar. I know a lot fo couch riders that swear their ride goes 60 -70 mph. The speedo on those things are crap. But a lot of peeps believe they are giving an accurate speed.

Yeah not riding for months on end does suck. I lived near Mobile, AL for 3 years and got to ride all year round... then moved back north... man it's hard getting used to not riding all winter again. I think I need to move down with my brother-in-law in Palm Beach Gardens, FL...

Solid! I am now rethinking my entire project. I am thinking that I will not build a motor for my square nose. Just finishe the hull and either keep it for back up or sell it.

Yeah, I remember this thread. Nice job on your plan.. sounds pretty good so far. We were doing ok, but unfortunately used up a huge chunk of our retirement to pay for my daughters med school. Good news is we should be debt free by years end. Just paid off about $10k in education...
