    SXR Top End Rebuild

So you have personally or known someone who had a SBT crank fail??? I am not talking about their motors, but just the cranks. I have used two of them and they have held up perfectly and I have blown two oem cranks. I have never heard of anyone have an SBT crank fail, ever, even on rentals.

    SXR Top End Rebuild

You guys have blown an SBT crank??? Never seen one go yet...My brother has built 100s of motors using them on rental skis and never had a problem. Plus they have a 1 year no fault warrantee. I haven't heard of one person who has had one fail. The cast pistons when they blow tend to crumble...

Dave Ramsey, debt, credit cards, retirement, etc

SXR Installing a versiplug below the exhaust outlet.

I wouldn't worry about that small amount of water on a stock sxr. The styrofoam won't get heavy...Just tilt it to the left as you pull the trailer out of the water.

    Freestyle handlepoles

I can't see running a heavier pole...My UMI's broke like they were made of paper mache...the XMetal has not broken yet, but I have seen them break. If I had it to do over, I would go with an AC or an old SR71 24-7 carbon pole. Those are the only poles I have not seen break and they are light...

    SXR Top End Rebuild

Good info, Art. The reason I use wisecos is because if they do blow, there is less chance of them crumbling and destroying your cylinder and cases. Wiseco's have the exact bore and clearance written right on the box. I actually like the smooth throttle response of pro-x better, and they ARE...

Other Why isn't Jet Skiing in the X-Games????

That they do...haven't ever seen a day in Sandiego that wasn't at least 3 footers. If you do it next to the pier on Garnet, they are for some reason a foot or so bigger.

Other Why isn't Jet Skiing in the X-Games????

They could have it at Long Beach in LA or Pacific Beach in California... It would be HUGE!!! A little advertising in the area and it would be insane. Throw a live band or DJ and some bleachers on the beach and it would GO OFF as an insane event. No need for a stupid Wave pool when you could...

Super Jet make fun of the fat kid

A shortened faster steering mod and a longer ride plate will help alot... but mostly, just ride it ALOT. You'll get it to stop porpoising by learning how to work the throttle and your weight.

    Dammit!!!!

Nope...as long as the cylinder is saved. :headbang:

    Dammit!!!!

I know that the aluminum had to be welded right where it actually touches the cyliner...he said it didn't get too hot, but it was enough to move it.
