Wow... Both skis look fantastic... post up how the first rides go.
First ride is where you find that one bolt you forgot to torque... ours was the hose clamp on the carb pulse line... ran for 10 minutes then quit. :-)
Good luck and have fun !

Haven't got the backflip yet but we're getting closer. The best I've been able to do is nose it in. I think Sam (my son) is going to get it as he can launch the ski pretty well now. I weigh about 50lbs more than him so I'm going to get as close as i can with the 701 and stock pump so I'll be...
I used a factory manifold, with a Kawi head pipe (modified for a stinger). I'm using a modified 650SX OEM pipe, but I think there is enough room for a factory chamber.

Ya... Give Stacy a call... she hooked me up with full insurance on our BOB at a pretty reasonable price. It will depend on what you think your replacement value is and what you decide on liability limits, but she was more really competitive with any others (before they said no because it was a...
Sweet ski man... looks fantastic... when do you hit the water? Seeing a lot of BOB builds with the black white and red theme... my favorite... how about with Black Turf and Red Holds...

The riser bars didn't work out the way we wanted so we went back to the xScream straight bars. We went with risers to get more clearance between knuckles and hood and were able to accomplish that with the straight bars by using a bigger (4 inch) hood shock pad.
Also swapped out the stock SN...
I've ordered some ATP parts from Steve at Canadianfreestyle.com. I had a problem with one of the parts and sent Steve some pictures by e-mail. He and Air Time Products immediately stood behind their product and not only refunded the purchase price, but the shipping as well. This was beyond my...
After the fun of building this great hull came the hassle of registering it with the California DMV. SInce the hull does not come with a H.I.N. number you have to apply for it. I called DMV and asked what I needed to do and which forms were required. They told me I had to bring the forms (BOAT...
My insurance company is reluctant to insure my Gen 3 BOB because they are calling it a custom high performance watercraft.
How are you guys getting your custom builds insured? Who are you insured with?
Thanks.
If you're going to sub.. make sure your hoods on tight...
Showing off for some out of town family... nice deep sub, then a big BURP of air as the hood popped off... then she sank!

Have you checked your cooling lines to be sure they're not cracked or plugged? If your superjet has the overheat sensor it could be causing the power loss.
BTW... what is the "spout" that's not working... do you mean the pisser? If your pisser is not running, you have a cooling problem.

swapped out the X-metal straight bars for some ATP riser bars. Allows the pole to be shorter and still have clearance with the hood.

Rode great... We really like it. Neither my son or i managed a full back flip, but we sure tried hard. We did get it running again and rode it almost straight for 6 hours.

Nice build. I bet you can't wait to get it on the water. We put ours in... Rode for 20 minutes then had to tow it back in. Good news was it was just the pulse line came loose... We were s&$@/-g bricks though.

First ride today... Love this ski!
The pics are a bit grainy due to a telephoto lens zoomed in. Shot them across the no wake zone...
Seems back flipping is a lot to do with making and timing the set up wake. Both Sam and I did a bunch of back flops with a few just nosed in... more practice...
Haha... That's funny. I didn't pay attention to which end of the hood the holes were on.
Here is a picture of the actual holes... look a lot like the ones you drew on...
