    Shonuff Welcomes Lesser Ski

Well, that and I don't want to waste Chuckie's valuable time. The way I see it, after the two little Flakes go to bed, you become the resource of choice for mechanics who don't really have to accept full responsibility for their work since they're doing it for free.

    Trent's Mild Restoration

He stated that the ski used to really take off but has since slowed considerably. I started by removing the rideplate and pump. The ski's been sitting for three years winterized so god knows how the carb looks inside. I'll need to get a rebuild kit from John Zigler soon.

    Trent's Mild Restoration

http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/31359/post-438648 I started the thread above to just say I got the ski and a mild buildup will ensue but I thought I would start an official buildup thread so I can keep track of the progress in a more linear fashion. The ski is owned by Trent H. who is not a...

    Shonuff Welcomes Lesser Ski

Well, my Alcon rep owns a SuperJet it turns out: "It used to tear my arms off but not anymore. What can you do to restore it to its previous glory?" "Let's find out" I tell him. He drops the ski off to me today. It's a 1994 SuperJet, bone stock except for plate/grate and bilge. It's...

    Stroker Selection Question

So I was just wondering how does one decide whether to go to a 5mm stroker like Gil or longer . . . say an 8mm stroker? Are there advantages to the 5mm? Does the 8mm not show enough of an improvement over the 5 to justify the drop in reliability (if there is one)? What's the story?

SXR Mod opinions, what next ?

The lightweight flywheels make a big difference. DJKorn's got a wet-pipe and a lightweight flywheel and his ski jumps out of the water. I hear through the grapevine that you can remove the magnets and inner ring from an oem flywheel and it makes a huge difference. It is, of course, a total...
