Well, my Alcon rep owns a SuperJet it turns out:
"It used to tear my arms off but not anymore. What can you do to restore it to its previous glory?"
"Let's find out" I tell him.
He drops the ski off to me today. It's a 1994 SuperJet, bone stock except for plate/grate and bilge. It's currently shoving 158psi out both cyls so I'm pleased about that.
It's got a crack along the left side and he says it takes on water when he leaves it docked overnight . . . to which I informed him not to do that.
My guess is either the impeller is chewed to hell, the pump stator is screwed, or the foam is insanely waterlogged.
My guess is it is the latter. Friggin superjets.
We'll see.
