when installing a kawi engine, i remove the bearing support, clean it, apply silicone, then install the engine and let the coupler dictate where the housing sits. once the engine is in and tight, i tighten the 4 carrier bolts. also, there should be a mark on the bottom of the inside of the hull...

i agree w/ jesse. 8mm is easier to work with. if you get 25mm (its actually only 20mm), you have to do a lot of cutting and grinding to get the desired thickness in the footholds, as opposed to glueing 2x8mm pieces together.

kawi = lean however you want the boat to react to your english yami = lean where the ski tells you to lean.

no need for correcting. thats what happened. my boat still has the factory gelcoat from '96! its not really buildoff material..... unless the only other competition was kawis and squares.:sneaky: :haha:
