frankenstein Yamasaki hull. 750 Kawi topdeck on a SN superjet bottom. She's heavy. about 130lbs bare with hood.
currently jetted 130 main 120 pilot 1.5 needle/seat 28 psi pop off.
It rode ok in daytona but it feels like there is much more power to unlock. currently not as snappy as my old...

This stuff works pretty well and is pretty comfy
1) Can't help you there. We never bored out any of our 122mm pump shoes. But I did eventually swap to a 144 pump shoe on my Fx-1 and did notice a difference so I would definitely bore it.
2) Ride plate does not clear the pump without some modification. the stock rideplate clears it if you...
Mostly do to school (but also do to lack of fund$) this build has been neglected a bit. I really want to get this thing done by Daytona Freeride but only time will tell. I still have to track down a few parts and still there's plenty of body work to do.
I did get a chance to work on it a bit...
B-pipe rubbing up against the hull, due to the added reinforcement. Its gets a little better every time I ride it so maybe it was a combination of that and the motor mounts breaking themselves in.
Little update to this build. She's been running great every weekend but I wanted to change the stock length the plate. And I also had some riser bars lying around.. So I made this contraption from a stock turn plate and the bars I had. Also the front foothold was way to small so I chopped it up...
Looks good from far but far from good! This was yesterday, I ran out of body filler so I called it a day early. I'm 90% done with the bottom though, just a few small holes to fill. not lookin for perfection, this thing is gonna get beat on anyways.

He definitely was a dreamer and liked could put some cool skis together. He built this 1100 xp when I was a kid, hitting 70mph back when that was fast lol.
Another project that's been sitting on the side of my house for years.
