it just isnt a visually pleasing spot to put it, IMO.... although its very functional. if i was running a single..... hmmm... i guess if i didnt go the WCF route, id go with the way youre considering. i think a single up front would be too loud.

wifeys ski has a side exhaust by the bulkhead and so did my old square. its my least favorite location for and exhaust outlet.

you can order the tube that WCF uses on his skis. its an aluminum rear/side exhaust tube. it usues the same hole through the bulkhead but instead of coming out of the rear of the ski, it comes out the right side, in back, under the bondline.... plenty of room for any foothold.

nice! i thought itd fit. how much persuation did it require? did "another" ever realize that he cant backflush through a flow control valve?

i didnt think about water collecting in the bottom..... maybe drill a weep hole in it?

thats what i was thinking. how about the seapoo type connectors? i was thinking about making a stainless L bracket that bolts to the nozzle then the ball hangs from it..... kinda like a stelactite.

i am, this is not for my ski though. regardless, all sjs are the same in that area. i dont understand why this plate wont work. if i grind the area to clear, there will be a huge hole going through the plate. if i shim the plate, it defeats the purpose of the plate design. :dunno:

the XFT rideplate doesnt clear the steering, even on a modified nozzle, w/o shimming the plate. pic #1 shows the XFT plate butted up, back to back, with the plate on my ski. pic #2 shows a close up of the are im talking about pic #3 shows how much id have to gring through the plate to get the...

i guess ill leave it then. i cut it w/ a knife and didnt make a mess. then i took a torch and seered the newly cut foam so i didnt have little white rabbit pellets all over the bilge area.

will the ski float w/o that piece if sunken? im guessing it would since theres an assload of foam in there.

when putting in a b mod chamber, do most just cut the foam around the pipe or just remove the foam piece entirely?
