Flow control valves are good because water doesn't build up in your waterbox after a long idle....it keeps it clean on the bottom emd. As far as the pump fitting, yes....1/2 inch 45 degree fitting. It will all be in the directions with your pipe. yes, change the jets, should come with your pipe.

FP settings should work...you DID change the jets to the FP ones, right? Did you change the cooling fitting off of the pump? Start the ski up with the hood off and look for exhaust leaks. Did you forward the timing?

Carbs are gummed up from fogging oil? Pull em off and tear em down and clean em up? Make sure jets aren't blocked.

The pipe comes with directions about carb settings and new jets....follow them very carefully. Get the charging flywheel, or your battery will not charge. The footholds are cut and glassed in the sides, straps are not. Do some research on here and look at some pictures! Have fun...
