Well, not really, the hull is still bulletproof and water tight....but I run it up on rocks and the beach and leave it laying on the cement ramps and slam it into the ground in 2 feet of water from 10 feet up....:smokin: The bottom is lookin pretty gnarly....How long before I wear through the... -

Other Nose foam options? Other buoyancy-enhancing ideas?
DUAL HOOD STRAPS (hood will never come off) on each side of the hood. ...and a RuleMate 1100 Automatic bilge. (won't kill your battery, only comes on when there is water in your ski, can't forget to turn it on, etc etc etc...) The Perfect bilge pump. SXR's come with Polystyrene nose... -

Sick...John, that is badass. Have fun in Pt. Loma...watch out for the seaweed and rocks, though. I remember riding at Pt. Loma and turning off my motor and 'surfing' a wave for a like a 1/2 mile into the bay. Cool place to ride.- djkorn1

Cleveland Surf Days 4-6feet.
Yesterday: 5-7 footers with about 4 second intervals. There were some monsters out yesterday. Madmat was killin it with some HUGE rolls, stabs and re-entries. 8 riders out yesterday :aargh4: Today: Noaa has the waves at 4.6 feet with 7 second intervals. Should be huge and fantastic. We meet at... -
SXR SXR leaking
Its not the chips in the back... Where the lines come into your hull....it leaks around the edges. Get a flashlight and look at your firewall under your hood while it is in the water...you'll see the leak. unless its in the back by the pump somewhere.
