hell no, I will ride virtually ANY conditions....
BUT
I have been out in waves like these enough times to recognize an accident waiting to happen...
its not being a pu$$y, its just being smart (and wanting to live)
were not getting 15's in daytona.....
it owuld have to be a HUGE noreaster and the wind would be unbearable.......
daytona needs 2-3' as that is sizable for joes to pros
any bigger than that I will get my entertainment from watching the lake newbs get past the first break...thats...
it isnt that easy man......
same here.....couple of days at ponce with 20' faces and it just makes me turn around and go in.......
a tow is IMPOSSIBLE in those conditions....I.M.P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E
you are nuts and have WAY too much faith in your equipment
THAT waterbox I'd turf.....stockers are a little tougher as they have the angles.....
but that one should turn out nice and last awhile....just prep it well
i just changed out my paper filter this weekend..it was new in march and there was TONS of crap in there..
the little cone shaped stone filters always clogged on me......
the OEM's seem to last forever, but I have a feeling chuck uses the paper filters for a reason....
even if you saved the one, dont use it...replace all four and keep that one as an emergency spare..
if you replace 3, and use 1 old one it will weaken the other three (just like if you use a mix of good and bad batteries)....
