you can have your cylinder ported and flywheel lightened, that will help a lot. Timing advance. Find out what your compression is, you may be able to increase it do give more snap. if you plan to go big bore, you will have to spend a lot more - BB itself, new pistons etc, new domes for the...

from what i know: closed course porting has taller exhaust ports, not much wider than stock. - more mid range excelleration and top end. freestyle/freeride porting has wider ports and not much taller than stock. - more bottom end.

lightened flywheel pro-tec modded CDI i noticed a really nice wake up when i had my cylinder ported.

well, it's been several weeks since i've had time to work on the beast. I finally finished sanding the entire hull, and it came out nice. got everything all lined up for the hood cutting so i will start that tomorrow, and maybe cut the swoops on saturday.
