i know i dont have a sj , but it did make a big difference on my ski. i kept doing what you did every time i ripped a turn on a wave until i put a set on. if you dont wanna spend $300 on a set, just get the ones i got from taiwan for $100

torquen , dont sweat it, he will find some way to get his ski there. as far as flushing your ski goes, i wouldnt worry about it as long as you flush it when you get back. you could bring a hose and hook it up to a faucet at a nearby gas-n-sip or quarter wash.

i have some taiwan knockoffs and i love them. wish i would have put them on sooner

with your b-pipe and head , you should definitely notice a difference , but with a stock motor you wont notice any difference. thats why they didnt need to put a bigger pump in the fx-1, there isnt any improvement with a bigger pump on a stocker.

i'd reccomened you do it now before you crack it and have to do it anyways. i cracked mine near the hoodlip and i cracked my hood learning barrel rolls out at pismo. i wasnt even going big. i wish i would have re-enforced 1st. now i gotta rush to fix it before the pismo surfslam on the 19th...
