do you have to tow a trailer? if not throw the skis in the back of the truck so you can haul ass down here. will save you alot of time.

it fits, its just a little bigger than the fx-1 chamber all around. it fits really snug. everywhere the sj chamber rubs on my fx-1 , there would be like at least a 1/4 inch clearance with a fx-1 chamber. it rubs on the gas tank and on the side of the hull.... its nothing a little turf cant fix

its the rider.. not the ski. the only reason i even bought a sj is so i dont have to sober up to ride. the sj is an fx-1 with training wheels:shooter3: anyways, cant wait to check that thing out. you should bring it to pismo next month

the rules are...there are no rules. it cost like $5 for the day or $10 to camp overnite. you launch wherever .. its a big beach, no boat launch or anything. the water isnt warm, i wear a wetsuit however i do see people out there without them now and then, but i wouldnt be able to stay out...

just turn and gas it but oddly enough , odd duck is right. turn your bars early. at first you'll have the tendency to turn the bars too late

i'd take it, but the fx-1 steering cable wont work on it. i'd have to buy a sj steering cable also and im trying to avoid that. i actualy have another fx-1 handlepole thats already on it, so i dont need it today. but eventually my buddy will want his handlepole back. (i hope he doesnt mind...

i need the top bracket for my fx-1 handlepole and was wondering if the 2008 will work since it is shorter than the previous year superjets. i wanna make sure the fx-1 steering cable will still work . the cable part numbers are different on the 08sj and fx-1. i wont be using the whole handlepole...

years ago when i lived in fremont my friend and i grabbed a map and randomly chose a marina to go launch are 550's at. we werent very experienced riders or anything but wanted to go ride in the ocean. well we ended up going to the marina closest to the maverick's break. we get there and see...

camping is the only way to go. that way you can get wasted at night and not have to drive and then roll out of bed hung over and crawl to the water. if you need a shower there are pay showers right outside the beach, just bring some quarters. if you need a toilet, just bring a shovel.

i bought this ski from the original owner. he hasnt used it in like 4 or 5 years. he said the carbs are not the stock carbs. i know nothing about carbs. can someone enlighten me. how do i find out what size carbs these are. what are those purple things? i did notice that it has an r&d intake...
