i actually kinda like the monster sticker, it just doesnt go with the color of the ski. do what i did and just rattle can the side of the ski under the bondline. paint them white and it will look ten times better. dont worry about the bottom of the ski.
i had a 1971 bronco that would stay dry while driving in the rain with the top off as long as i kept moving. and then when i parked i would just put the trash bags over the seats!
i have one of them. i dont think anyone makes them anymore. i got mine used. works great. one person operation. only downside is they are made of steel and will rust over time. tires could be a little larger too.
that engine compartment looks soo clean you could eat off of it. cant wait to see what this thing looks like when its wrapped. i prefer wrapped over paint anyday.
i like the watercraft factory holds. i have thhem in two of my boats. easy shape to install. the revs look like they would be more difficult to install.
looks good. i will be running a similar setup if i ever get it finished. i'll have to take you up on that test ride offer. i was debating what prop to use, it would be nice to see how yours hits b4 i go out andbuy a new one.
i think its just preference. i ran mine down and under and kept the hole covered so that i dont have to tow my friends when their skiis break:veryhappy:
anyone know an easy way to tell if my umi pole is tsock length or -2? i was told it was -2 but looking at it im thinking it might be stock. i dont have any stock length poles at home to compare it to. any easy way to tell?
i agree. sell that ski complete for as much as can get. than buy a cheap squarenose with a 701 motor. it will save you a lot of work and will be worth it in the long run because those 650's are dogs.
this exact thing happened to my ski (my lawnmower too) and when i took the carb apart there was a bunch of white jelly in there that looked like mangoo. after cleaning out all the manggo it ran great.
