Kevbo, you're right on that they preceded the 9/17's, but adjusting it to the newer 9/17 profile will help bottom end and rpm a bunch. It's not a bad impeller, but depending on the engine set up, it may be a bit agressive. It loads more like the newer 10/18 in that style impeller, or a 14/18...
