received my 9/15 also... i'll try to snap pics of comparison between the skat swirl I have and the new hooker before I install. I'll try to get it in for the weekend's ride.
watch it now... where are you riding on sunday?
cuong is going to be camping somewhere north of goleta, but south of el capitan. I need to give him that silver hull for stuntbikemike, maybe we can all ride on sat or sunday
bluegtate just installed another set of REVs and he just cut the front of the right hold, put some wax paper over the tube, and glassed over it... came out nice.
i like the 321 style also, low to the ground, easy to load, has a crank... I almost ordered one, but then found a used big foot near me on craigslist for a price i couldn't refuse.
bull, anything without a crank is not nice in my opinion... it sucks to have to have two people to just put your ski on the damn thing... just my opinion.
where ever you stick them you'll get used to them... Wydopen helped me do mine, and they are a little hack...
When we mounted the one side a tab bit too low, he said, "Ah don't worry, thats an old Skiman's trick... Low boy mounts!"
yes sounds like a decent deal... you can take the bad motor and part it out and make most/some of your money back depending on its condition...
Also can't tell but that hood looks like it doesn't have the channel in it for the fire extinguisher... might be a custom blowsion hood.
