Sunday mornign was great on the lake. You had about 7 boats there all with experienced riders, and there were absolutely no issues. I agree with Waterfreak, it's not the type of boat there, it's the experience of the riders.

As I've heard Magoo, Waterfreak and others say... Most of the boats riders have are over-powered for their skillz. IMO, that is as big a hinderance as not enough power. (But, Darin is totally coorect on the HP/Weight)

You can have the lightest hull available, with a 10mm stroker, and if you don't have the skillz, it's a waste. Skillz is where it's at, not necessarily the weight or power. I dare say if you gave Malone a stock freestyle ski, he would still kick all our arses. The boy has skillz!:hail:

I won't argue with you, BUT if we don't let our deep cycle batteries completely run down, they will only last a couple of months. If we let them fully run down, and charge at 10 amps for 1 hour, they last for years with no reduction of charge life. This is base on my experience, and for $200...

Trickle charging deep cycle batteries is bad. We use them heavily at work starting cars, and you should always let them drain totally before charging them back up. 1 hour on a 10 amp charge will bring them back up to full. We get about 2 years use out of each battery this way, and like...

The 6m6 cases with a 61x cylinder on it works great, especially ported and with a b-pipe. Yes, the 61x cases are better, but if you are on a tight budget, the 6m6 will make a very tight, reliable 701. What is wrong with the engine?
