I bought Slymos advent, and have it wired in the SJ, but was researching threads and read from a second hand that he was having the startup problems mentioned... (post 11 in this thread)
Looks like I need to take it out and tune with a stocker and then dial it in with the advent. Sounds fun...

When testing compression, do you have to have the exhaust connected? My assumption would be no, but you know what happens when you assume.

You can pick up 44mm mikunis for $350.
I ran into this problem, and just decided to go with 44s.
You will need some additional mods to get them to work, but I could not justify that much for 38s.
Curve 2 on D14 = Curve 6: Y701-6
Will be installing b-pipe on 701-T with Advent D14 CDI, ADA Girdled head (35cc = 185psi), 44mm aftermarket mikunis, not sure if I will have the cash to scrape up the boyesen intake setup.
