i'm not sure of the thread pattern there, but you might have trouble getting the die to slip over the very end of the shaft at the spline end... not sure though.
Finally got the 750sx spring setup on my ski. Springs are a beautiful thing. Rode for the first time today with it and it felt perfect.

Geez... ACE hardware an home depot suck for stainless hardware. Went there last night instead of Do it Best b/c DIB was already closed. I'll never make that mistake again. Waste of 1 hour and 1/8 tank of gas.

i've wanted to experiment with my bottom screw more, but I have only played with the top.
Advice I received from DangerBoy who has been in the watercraft industry for 20+ years and riding yamaha's for over 10 is to only use OEM mid shaft housings. Aftermarket bearings and the short shaft itself are usable.

It was such a pain in the butt to get that WDK bracket off. The two large allen head screws closest to the rider that hold the bracket to ski were stubborn. Stripped the head of the the last bolt. Luckily was able to get a pair of vice grips on the head of the bolt then twist the bracket...

i put E plugs in a stock 300sx once when i first started riding... needles to say there were pretty little designs in the top surface of the piston after cranking it over.
