a full 61x makes great low end power with a few simple mods......
46/48 carb, 180 psi, bore the intake/exhaust to 48 and match the ports to the gasket, static advance the timing 2mm
the timing mod is what pulls it all together

thats because 185 is enough.....but 160-170 is NOT....many folks who THINK they are running 185 really are not
PFP likes compression..plain and simple...thats a pipe, not an engine characteristic
my 735 XS small bore runs 93 octane at 200 PSI going strong 4 years now
my XS1000 ran great on AVgas...but ran 1000X better on 93..the 93 is MUCH snappier...never bothered to put race gas domes in it as it was a handful enough on pump
thats not really a DASA charactreristic...moreso of the pipe
key with a PFP is COMPRESSION
if not running big CC with high compression the benefit of a PFP will not shine
