the eaisest and best way is to rebuild the mount area with glass. The entire bracket mounting area is very weak on the squarenoses. If you rebuild that area you can level it out that way. Even ifyou cut the bracket the way you have it drawn there, it will bolt up nice and the pole will extend...

I rode one about 4 years ago and personally didnt like it too much, but then again I could barely ride a stand up at that time. I'd love to ride one again to see how I like it now.
