dont worry, factory pipe has at least 11 versions of the dry pipe, all reinforced different, to stop cracks. Im pretty sure the latest set up is ok. Look at the coupler where the pipe meets the manifold, and see what letter is stamped there
SO I broke my shaft off below the cone of the prop in my superjet a while back, I cant figure out how to get the rest of the shaft out and bearings etc. Anyone know? I got my prop off a couple hours ago.
some sort of hurricane
a friend of mine, marvins friend, said that he couldt keep his twins together and the pipes were just as big as those. I talked to Tim a few weeks ago, he didnt say much about cracking but maybe it just hasnt happened yet.
thats why they practice outside of events. but i totally agree with your point of sitting around too much. I race 2, sometimes 3 classes, and still have to much down time in my eyes
I voted lack of skills. As much as I love racing I'd like to try freestyle one day, just to get in their shoes and see what its like for once. I also raced amateur runabout 800 ltd this year for the same reason, just to see what its like. Im no good at freestyle, but hope to get better!
BTW I...
ALso, it says on pwctoday, someone spoke with tim and said that the front cylinder pipe, the one that wraps over the motor, is easy to remove for adjusting carbs. U know what i say? HAHAHAHAHHAHA
what do you think happens if you run straight exhaust, no box? How loud will that be? like, ridiculous? any problems with backpressure if you dont have one?
I think the reason they go used for so much is simple. People will still buy it. Case in point, that TNT chamber that sold for like $1000 last year.... yeah. Exactly. People are crazy
make yours like C. Except, dont make it disassemble. A bunch of my friends have those bigfoots and they just wear out and turn to crap. Make one like it but make it all welded, itll be much stronger and last longer
as a racer more than a freestyler/rider, I think its pretty sweet to see all the freeride movements and rides. I still think racing is awesome in its own way, just like freeriding. Now that my sj runs good, maybe Ill be better at freestyle haha
