I've got a Mach 1 on my 650. HEAVY. But it's a solid pipe. Definitely wakes up that little motor. Sounds pretty good too. I paid $300 a couple years ago for a complete pipe/manifold/hardware.

I believe 701 has a tad higher rev limit. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That adjustable angle thing must be big in Asia. The BUN pole has a similar setup. Looks pretty solid I suppose.

Nevermind... on second look you are correct... that is the throttle cable wrapped in probably a fuel line. Nice ski. Didn't miss a detail. Although I did see a speck of dirt in the second to the last picture... you should really take better care of your stuff.

In my head, I'm thinking that I would drill a hole, goop it full of epoxy, then run the insert in about halfway, and make sure and goop all around it - ending up with a little mound. How's that for precise engineering?

I do think it's an interesting idea though... the D cut extended plate. I happen to be a spazz though, and thus I have very little control over my shins.

You can always pick them up on eBay for next to nothing. Then grab a Dremel and take a nice big bite out of it :)

Yup. That's almost the whole point of an extended ride plate. Take that one step further and ride it with a cut plate.
